Lobel Services promotes the active participation of all Employees in OHSE decisions. We consult with our Employees and give them the opportunity, encouragement and training to be proactively involved in OHSE matters affecting our business and their work activities. The primary vehicle for Employee consultation is the Lobel Services OHSE Committee. The members of the committee comprise two Employees who are elected by their peers plus the Managing Director.
Consultation occurs in relation to, but is not limited to, the following subjects / topics:
hazard identification and risk assessment processes;
control measures for the management of hazards and risks;
changes to the organisation's policies and procedures or work routines which may affect OHSE;
make up of and representation on relevant committees; and
All workplace consultation decisions and initiatives, including the minutes of OHSE Committee meetings, are recorded and consultative sessions are conducted on a three-monthly basis.
